ananas press『エアメイル』展に合わせて
レターセットをつくりました。
便箋は『エアメイル』からランダムに、
封筒は祖母の書いた手紙から型をとって
います。

writing papers were chosen randomly from
『AIR MAIL』by ananas press.
the form of the envelope came from a letter
from my grandma.

湯浅景子さんの小さな絵のための額装。
外枠は濃い藍色のクロスを、内枠は
ボール紙に和紙を貼っています。木の額と
違って見た目にも、持っても軽く、
真ん中の凸に掛けているので取り外す
こともできます。

Frame for a small picture by Keiko Yuasa.
Used a dark indigo cloth for the outer
frame and Japanese washi paper for
the inner frame.
Paper frame looks light and it is lighter
than wooden frame.

台形や三角形のコンポジションの絵に
合わせて、変形四角形のフレームを
つくりました。
マットには淡い茶の革を使っています。

長野、ギャルリ夏至でのmon Sakataの坂田敏子さんとの展覧会
のための作品です。mon Sakataの2015年の春夏のコレクションの
生地をいただいて、布という素材と向き合って作品づくりをしま
した。敏子さんへのオマージュの気持ちも込めて、まるい箱、
ノート、封筒、額の作品が服と共に夏至の空間に並びました。

普段は紙を表紙につくるノートも、裏打ちした布ではやわらかな
風合いに、数十年前のmon Sakataのコレクションの手書きの
型紙も綴じ込んでいます。今回のコレクションではスカートや
ジャケットにもなっているシリコン加工が施された麻の布は、
縫製で残ったかたちが美しくて手を入れることができずにいた
ものをそのままに、和紙で何層も裏打ちを施し、軽やかに額装
した作品になりました。

糸編み作家のなるじさんからの依頼で、彼女のwebコラム
「糸りとり」のための作品をつくりました。糸を使った作品で、
しりとりなので前の方のタイトルのおしりの文字からスタート、
わたしは『こ』で始まります。
mon Sakataの敏子さんからいただいた糸、手帖づくりで使う釣り糸、
それから製本用の麻糸を紙に巻きつけたり、つなげてつくりました。
タイトルは『コイル』になりました。

An art work for 'Shiritori' column on Liverary web magazine
directed by Aki Naruji, a knitting artist.
I took pieces of threads from mon Sakata, fishing thread
for my notebook, and linen thread for binding joined together
with pieces of papers, coiling around and around.

2012年11月10日から25日にgallery feel art zeroで
宮下香代さんとの二人展で開催した、「十一紙」展で
制作した作品集。

'Jyuichikami' exhibition at gallery feel art zero,
Nagoya in November 10-25, 2012 collaborated with
paper artist, Kayo Miyashita.

ふたりで選んだ11の言葉を綴じた本と、それぞれの
作品の欠片が詰め込まれています。

代々木上原にある友人夫婦の花屋、mugihanaがちょっと大きくなって
6月にオープン、そのお知らせのためのカードを制作しました。
ちいさな車から始まって、たくさんの花と笑顔で溢れたふたりの
結婚パーティも、はじめて展覧会をさせてもらったのもあの場所で、
ふたりがいたからできたこと。

mugihana in Yoyogiuehara, a small flower shop has just opened
their 2nd shop in june 2012. they ordered me an invitation card
for the opening party to their friends and customers.
we've been knowing each other since they start selling flowers
on the street. soon they found a small space for their first mugihana.
they had their wedding party with full of flowers and friends,
and my very first exhibition, everything at there with them.

『風に乗った種子が、大地に芽を出し、根を張り、
少しずつ枝を伸ばして、空にむかって葉を広げるように。』
麻ちゃんの言葉があってこの形になりました。
ありがとうと、これからもよろしくねの想いを込めて。

'The seeds will sprout and grow up, the roots will spread,
twigs with leaves will reach to the sky'

Hediに教わった、一枚の紙を折り畳んでつくる封筒。
スイスから戻り、東京に住まいを移したときにこの封筒で引越の
知らせをしました。全部で90通くらいだったと思う。
折り方はちょっと複雑だけど、手が全部覚えてる。
